I loved this budget hotel and stayed for 1 night here. My double room had central heating, television and a writing desk. Central location close enough to the nicer downtown area, theatre and casino and downtown or Comerica Park, it was in a downtown area.

Food was pretty good and I have nothing but very comfortable memories from this trip. The non-smoking hotel was old-fashioned. Welcoming staff on reception and elsewhere. The location was handy, a 10-15 minute walk from gm world. Loved the reasonably priced restaurant.

Brilliant base for a 1-night stay. Staff was excellent and the little extra touches like a heating system, tea/coffee making equipment and a writing desk in the room was a treat.
The room was dated.
